Breakthrough artists showcased at iconic Olympia Hall

16 April 2015 Events

Vivendi hosts this Friday a showcase for new breakthrough artists at the iconic “L’Olympia” venue in Paris, marking the inauguration of  ‘Vivendi Talents’, a program to identify the stars of the future.

The inaugural event, hosted by Canal+ journalist Isabelle Ithurburu and presenter Ali Baddou, will bring together popular artists such as Louane (from the acclaimed 2014 French comedy movie La Famille Bélier), Mathieu Saikaly, Emji, Vincent Dedienne, King Mensah or Denise, the winner of the recent Island Africa Talent on the A+ all-African television channel part of Canal+ Group. Many other artists discovered by Universal Music and Canal+ will also make their debut on the famous Paris stage where several global acts have performed over the years.

By encouraging content diversity, Vivendi Talents aims to complement work across the Group, where  dedicated teams are identifying and supporting new talent at Universal Music, Canal + and Vivendi Village. Vivendi believes that quality talent can be discovered anywhere. Through this initiative, it hopes to create a new springboard for up and coming artists, not only by discovering them, but also promoting them as they build new careers.
