A helping hand for budding journalists

Talents are everywhere ! And promising journalists-to-be now have the chance of a lifetime, with the French association Chance aux concours !

Vivendi Create Joy, which supports solidarity programs geared towards disadvantaged young people, has been a partner of the CAC program for five years.

Every year, this association of professional and volunteer journalists chooses 24 motivated scholarship holders in order to train and guide them, every Saturday during the course of eight months, with quizzes on general culture, the news, French, writing and analytical skills testing, English, mock exams and oral evaluations that help prepare the students for the entry exams to the most prestigious journalism schools.

More than 70% of the students pass the entry exams and subsequently enroll in journalism schools, a feat that would be difficult to achieve without the support and help of the free training provided by the association.

The association is therefore working to achieve more diversity in the media by giving such opportunities to motivated scholarship holders.
Thanks to the Create Joy Program, Vivendi, in collaboration with its partners, helps to detect talents and gives them the tools they need to develop to their full potential.
